JULIETTE DUMAS - solo exhibition
Clara Darrason is pleased to present Indices de présence by French artist Juliette Dumas, at La Crypte de Grez, in a 12th-century medieval underground crypt a historic artists’ colony near Fontainebleau Forest that attracted Camille Corot and John Singer Sargent, among others. Through two in situ installations, Dumas explores a reversal of the dominance of the celestial sacred in favor of a spirituality rooted in a primordial, fertile relationship with the Earth.
